CLMC Services
Persons with developmental disabilities learn a variety of services at the CLC. These are individualized to suit the participants’ skill level, physical challenges and personal preferences. They are provided on a continuum as persons move. Individualized programs range from learning basic living skills to helping someone move into the community and live with minimal assistance. Adult daily living (ADL) skills learned include:
- Laundry
- Housekeeping
- Menu planning
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Home safety
- Use of public transportation
- Banking
- Bank statement reconciliation
- Medical appointments and follow-up
- Hygiene
- Paperwork
- Exercising
- Medicine schedules
